PCS Tool Sensor Selection
Allora manufactures two types of Positive Contact Sensors for monitoring broken tools: the PCS-100 and the PCS-250. The PCS-100 System is our best-selling tool monitoring system and is America’s #1 Broken Tool Sensor. Its ease of set-up, reasonable price, performance and repair options make it like no other tool monitor available. The PCS-250 System is preferable when additional diagnostics are required, or when the use of an electronically programmable “teach” sensor is required. Both the PCS-100 and the PCS-250 are optionally available as Air Pressurized (AP) sensors for use in the most extreme cutting tool environments.
